What to Expect if We Work Together
My approach to therapy is one of collaboration. As such, I believe in “joining in” my client’s journey toward self-actualization and fulfillment and not merely “directing.” In addition, I actively work to create an inclusive space and support clients of diverse identities and experiences.
My approach to psychological and neuropsychological testing is client focused. I listen to the concerns of my client and their family members, carefully choosing appropriate tests, and offering relevant recommendations.
About Me
I am a licensed psychologist in Alabama (#2394) and Georgia (#PSY004658). My Doctor of Psychology in clinical psychology is from Adler University, with an emphasis in neuropsychology and military psychology. I completed a two-year fellowship in neuropsychology at the Milwaukee Veteran Affairs (VA) hospital. In addition, I have practiced in various settings (Residential, Inpatient, Outpatient, Rehabilitation, and Private Practice). Prior to becoming a psychologist, I served 7 years in the U.S. Air Force which ignited my passion to provide therapy to people experiencing various mental health concerns.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, watching movies, exercising, and volunteering.
